I never thought I’d end up making candles. I went to culinary school because I loved baking. I was obsessed with creativity and the way you could turn simple ingredients into something beautiful.

Over time, I realized it wasn’t the baking I loved most. It was the feeling behind it. I wanted to create things that made people feel something. That’s what led me to making dessert candles! It's a way that you can permanently own something sweet!

Smells Like Sugar LLC is handmade in Michigan in small batches. Some like to burn them to fill the room with sweetness, and others just like to keep them as a house decoration!

Fun Fact About Me: My favorite candle to make is Strawberry Dreamer! (You probably already knew that since I'm holding it in the photo above!) It smells like sweet cream and fresh strawberries. It’s the candle that reminds me why I started. It’s fun to make, fun to decorate, and makes my room smell delicious.
